FIM Password reset and Registration Portal - Error 3001 Cannot find user

Hey,

I have a deployment where we have 2 Domains, I am syncing users from Domain A to Domain B Successfully. I have all the required attributes flowing from Domain A to Domain B. 

There is a requirement that users who are now Synced to Domain B should be able to use the password reset portal. The problem i am facing is that Due to the users being Synced into FIM from Domain A have the ObjectSID of Domain A. But the users in Domain B have a totally different ObjectSID when being Synced. So when a User in Domain B tries to use the password reset portal FIM cant match the users as its own users have a different ObjectSID. 

FIM is installed and Domain Joined to DOMAIN B. 

My Question would be how do i deal with this situation and get the users in Domain B to log on to the password reset portal ?
